What liquid silicone rubber (LSR) is used for
Liquid silicone rubber (LSR) is a two-part, pumpable silicone that is injection-molded into finished parts. It suits detailed, thin-wall, or high-volume parts such as baby-care components, seals, valves, and soft-touch parts.

LSR vs HCR
LSR vs compression-molded (HCR) silicone
LSR injection usually fits higher volumes and fine detail; compression molding with high-consistency rubber often fits lower volumes and larger, simpler parts. We recommend the route per SKU after reviewing the drawing. Compound grade and Shore A are listed on the spec sheet; documents on request via the documentation pack on request.

Who owns the LSR tooling?
Tooling terms are agreed in the quote for each project.
Can LSR parts be food- or skin-contact grade?
