Silicone Product Spec Guide for OEM Buyers
B2B spec sheet for silicone products: Shore A, food-contact vs industrial grade, and mold type. Use this with the catalog, not as a consumer how-to.
Retail copy names silicone products by lifestyle. OEM copy names them by Shore A, food-contact vs industrial grade, and mold type. If those are not written down, bulk will drift from the approved sample.
This page is for brand and wholesale buyers. It is not a consumer tutorial. Pair it with the catalog and the size / spec hub.

What belongs on the spec sheet
| Block | Why it is on the sheet |
|---|---|
| SKU name (scenario, not internal mold/cut code) | Matches the catalog and the PO |
| Shore A, Food-Contact Vs Industrial Grade, And Mold Type | Stops “same as last time” arguments |
| Bill of materials / construction | Reorder consistency |
| Size or dimensional range | Grading and returns |
| Packing | Carton and barcode planning |
| Document list | Vendor portal, not marketing badges |
Two catalog lines
| Line | Path | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| kitchen silicone | /silicone/kitchen | Core wholesale and private-label assortment |
| custom molded silicone | /silicone/custom-molded | Second line for night, sport, or heavier programs |
Start with catalog SKUs. Custom geometry or a new construction is an OEM project, not a listing tweak.
How buyers should use this
- Pick SKUs from the catalog, not from a moodboard only
- Write the size curve and performance band on the RFQ
- Approve a sample against that sheet
- Freeze the sheet before bulk
Claims you cannot show (certificate numbers, lab grades, capacity figures you did not test) stay off the site and off the packing until the file exists. Ask for a documentation pack instead of copying another brand’s badge list.
Next step
If you are building a first assortment, start with kitchen silicone plus one custom molded silicone SKU, then send the mix on the inquiry form.
